Spend Your Weekend in Boston the Right Way

Saturday in Boston

Start your first day here doing something you’ve always wanted to do, but try to fit in as much of Boston’s rich past as possible.

Here’s what that might look like.

· Morning

· Afternoon

The JFK Library has a lot to offer, so it should be afternoon by the time you’re done. Boston has some of the world’s finest in MIT, Harvard, and the University of Massachusetts, and there’s always a student-guided tour going on in the city.

While you’re at Harvard University, you might want to stop by the Museum of Natural History, too.

· Evening

Keep it slow in the evenings. When the sun starts to set, hop onboard a sunset cruise on Boston Harbor for a 90-minute tour of the waters covering about a quarter of Boston.

After you’re done, travel about 10 miles for a Chinese and Taiwanese-style dinner at Dumpling Café.


Sunday in Boston

· Morning

Start your last day with a breakfast or brunch at Café Luna for the simple fact that it’s the best restaurant in Boston.

To recover from the ensuing food coma, visit the 2.5 Freedom Trail, and take a leisurely walk through its 16 attractions.

· Afternoon

Make for a fun afternoon by taking a tour at the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum. It includes reimagined ships but also reenactments and exhibits aplenty. If something else comes up, you can also catch the virtual program from your home.

· Evening

Reserve your last evening for an Italian dinner at Bar Mezzana, which opens in the evenings to serve you some of Boston’s finest food. Be sure to order the tuna and potato gnocchi.

Wrap up the night with a classic ghost tour with Haunted Boston. Each tour is a 90-minute-long trek through the city, complete with history and spooky storytelling.
