Vegas 2021: Planning Your Trip

Now that 2020 is behind us and a travel boom is expected in 2021, we’re sure you have your sights set on some places you’ve wanted to visit since forever. And if one of these cities happens to be Las Vegas, we’ve got some helpful ideas!

Plan Ahead

There are two kinds of travelers: those who plan in advance, and the stupid ones. You don’t want to be the latter.

Planning ahead entails taking care of the following way ahead in time:

- Hotel room booking

- Luggage storage options

- Plane tickets

- Budgeting

- Timelines

- Packing and shopping

And these aren’t the only essential pre-travel preparations. Some of them you don’t even think about until it’s too late—things like applying for leaves at work, or ensuring you don’t have major deadlines coming up right around the corner.

Make a List According to Your Budget

While it’s nice to “follow your instincts,” and “go with the flow,” those catchphrases don’t work too well in real life. Vegas is a city that can cost you dearly if you don’t plan your trip right.

So the first thing that we’d tell you to do is decide:

(a) Your budget

(b) Your timeline

Getting started on these two things means knowing (a) exactly how much you’ll be comfortable spending, and (b) how long you’ll have to spend it. Many people, when deciding their budgets, often miss out on a crucial factor: time. The more days you have to spend in Vegas, the more spending you should expect.

We also advise making a list of the things you must do—the places you must visit—and stick to that plan, if you’re on a budget.

Always Have a Luggage Storage Option in Mind

Of course, you’ll have a hotel and all that, but are you sure you’re good with no backup options? You might, for instance, not need a hotel for staying as much as you need it for leaving your bags. You might also have an issue not finding a good enough hotel—in which case you’ll settle for cheaper fare, and cheaper hotels aren’t always the safest.

Moreover, you might want to leave your bags or additional luggage someplace secure from where you can easily pick it up on your way to the airport in Vegas.

And what if we told you a luggage storage service exists that solves all of these problems for you? It does exist, it’s called Cubby, and it has operations in Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, Galveston, Fort Worth, Boston, Houston, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, and San Antonio.
